Food Banking

Under this initiative, Food for All Africa acts as an intermediary, collecting surplus, wholesome food from various sources, including supermarkets, food manufacturers, wholesalers, restaurants, farmers and individual donors and redirecting it to those who are food-insecure. We also receive non-perishable items through food sourcing, food drives and donations.

But before the distribution is done, we inspect, sort, and categorize the items. We check for quality, safety, and expiration dates to ensure that the food is suitable for consumption. The collected food is then stored in our various storage facilities across the country before they are redistributed to those who need it.
