At Food for All Africa, we do not withhold help from those who need it especially during times of crisis. During humanitarian emergencies, Food for All Africa is on the ground, delivering life-saving assistance to affected persons. We work alongside rescue teams, partners, donors, and volunteers to send out not just food, but also medical supplies, clothing, and other important relief items.
What We Did in 2021
When tidal waves swept through several communities in Ghana’s Volta Region in 2021, destroying homes and displacing hundreds of residents, we teamed up with United Way Ghana, and with the support of Standard Chartered Ghana, provided relief items such as food boxes, sanitary materials, and mosquito nets to selected communities hard hit by the disaster. Some of the communities that benefited from our intervention included Dzita and Fuveme.
